I bought DesertX with heated grips, but they didn’t arrive on time, so I decided to pick up the motorcycle without them and get them later. Finally, this month, I’ve got time and good weather to visit the Ducati dealer.
They put the heated grips on, and I tested them as soon as I left the service.
I’m unsure yet what to think – they were too hot on the lowest level, and after turning them off, my hands were freezing after a couple of minutes. It was about 10 degrees at that time, and it seems it might be too much for them. Or I was riding too slow. I wish they had more settings instead of just three levels.
This month we’ve got a good weather a few more times. I took advantage of that and used bike for commuting.
I also had a chance to go on a short trip and visit Brzeg Castle. The castle was built about 800 years ago by a duke from the Piast dynasty, destroyed and rebuilt a few times, and now serves as the Museum of the Silesian Piasts.
This was not a proper visit as I walked around and looked at the castle from outside. I will plan another trip, maybe with the family, to see that from the inside.
I took a short break in the city, too, and found a fun cafe that looks like one of the rooms in the palace. I enjoyed a coffee and a fancy dessert there.
