Taking advantage of the May 1st holiday and the great weather, I finally went for a longer ride that had been tempting me for a long time – a route through 11 mountain passes of the Guadarrama mountains.

Not many rides this month – we had a lot of rain, which wasn’t very encouraging. On the bright side, I spent some productive time in the garage.

I’m still riding the high from my Sahara trip, but I managed to squeeze in a few shorter rides this month as well. I also spent some quality time in the garage, working on my motorcycles.

This month, I kept up my weekly rides to stay in shape for my Sahara trip, which finally took place at the end of the month.

Want to ride like a Dakar racer? Go to Morocco and just do it! I’ve always been mesmerized watching Dakar riders dance through the dunes, and at some point, “that looks amazing” turned into “I need to try that.”

An exciting trip to Morocco is coming up, so I’ve been riding my enduro bike weekly to prepare.
