I was traveling through Spain this month and had a chance to go for some mountain and short rides in the cities.
Many routes offer stunning views. One of the good ones I tried was around La Pedriza. It led through Manzanares el Real, Peñalara foothills, Rascafria, and Miraflores de la Sierra. The road between the two last cities, through the mountain pass called Puerto de la Morcuerara, is my favorite so far.
