In October, I mainly used my motorbike for commuting. However, I still had a chance to go on a half-day trip. I picked El Atazar!
I had a GPX for an offroad route to El Atazar, which I wanted to try. However, I didn’t have the mood for enduro this time, so I decided to try a bigger bike and switch from the track to a paved road if it got too challenging.
The track started with gravel service roads and had shortcuts with light up and downhills. I tried a few of them, and when I reached the mountains, it began to be challenging, I decided to stick with the asphalt. The OEM tires are not great on slippery tracks, and I don’t have much off-road experience on the big adventure moto yet.
I will try this route again, but on the lighter KTM enduro bike, which is made precisely for that purpose. As a bonus, I took a photo of one uphill that waits for me there.
