December 2025 Moto Recap

An exciting trip to Morocco is coming up, so I’ve been riding my enduro bike weekly to prepare.

I added a weekly ride to the calendar – consistency over intensity – and managed 1-2 sessions per week.

I restarted practicing balance, clutch controls, and slow technical wheelies. I spent a lot of time in the sand and looked for steeper uphills and downhills. While looking for good places to practice those, I explored some areas I hadn’t been to before and found more routes to check in the future. One idea is to reach one of the peaks near Cerro de San Pedro.

Since some of the afternoon rides turned into night rides, and the OEM headlamp is bad in the dark, I looked for another solution. I bought and mounted a new headlamp. It’s a much more modern product, it is road-legal, and includes detailed instructions and required wiring. Turns out KTM doesn’t follow its own electrical diagrams for wire colors – that cost me a broken fuse and some frustration.
