In many parts of Wroclaw, if you look southwest, you can see a distinctive mountain. Ślęża, the 718m peak, is located about 40km from the city center. The hill was one of the most crucial Pagan worship places in Poland, important for old Slavic tribes.

This month, I took my DesertX for the weekend travel for the first time. The plan was to head into the Krakow area for two days and minimize time spent on the highway as my bike was still on the run-in period.
