This month started with a couple of bank holidays, and my cousin took advantage of that and visited us for a few days. Having two motorcycles in our garage, we got a chance to go for a short ride.

I attended the Hard ADV Survival School event hosted by Kadafi in the Żywiec Beskids area this month. As the name says, it is supposed to be an adventure motorcycle training aimed at big adventure motorcycles.

In March I found time for few enduro rides. We don’t really have gravel roads here but dirt roads, and it’s still a muddy season in Poland now, so in some moments it was challenging.

I bought DesertX with heated grips, but they didn’t arrive on time, so I decided to pick up the motorcycle without them and get them later. Finally, this month, I’ve got time and good weather to visit the Ducati dealer.

This month in my motorcycle world has been relatively quiet. The closest thing related to bikes was my return from a ski week in Madonna di Campiglio in Trentino two days before the Campioni in Pista event happened.

December 2023 Moto Recap
December is a cold month in Poland, but due to the climate change we no longer have too many days with snow. That way, instead of “closing the season” I could still have a few rides. I also spent some time in the garage and mounted a couple of items I ordered from Wunderlich.

November 2023 Moto Recap
It was a good month in terms of motorcycles. I didn’t have time for too many rides, but I still had a couple of good ones, did some commuting, and had a chance to visit an impressive BMW museum.

October 2023 Moto Recap
I finished the DesertX run-in period and visited a dealer for the first service. The heated grips still haven’t arrived, but I know that parts from Bologna are often delivered leisurely. At least they changed the oil and did the first maintenance, so now the engine can rev up to the max!

Ślęża, The Holy Slavic Mountain
In many parts of Wroclaw, if you look southwest, you can see a distinctive mountain. Ślęża, the 718m peak, is located about 40km from the city center. The hill was one of the most crucial Pagan worship places in Poland, important for old Slavic tribes.
