The beauty of this part of Europe is that you can commute on a motorcycle during winter without making too many sacrifices. I used a bike a few times to commute to Madrid.
I still needed to use a proper three-layer adventure gear most of the time, but didn’t need to worry about road conditions or safety. I improved the setup since last time, as I bought a windproof balaclava. I can definitely call it a game-changer.
During one of my commute rides, someone parked an interesting old-school Vespa next to my DesertX.
I used that time of year to plan some adventures – I’m going to spend a few days on Spanish TET during spring! I need to buy and mount some gear, like proper knobby tires, adjust the navigation setup, and plan a route and accommodations.
